about us Members of the City Wind Orchestra include able musicians from across the capital and beyond. Membership is open to anyone who has an interest in playing the repertoire and being part of a wind orchestra. If you are interested in joining us, go to the contact us page and make contact!
membership The City Wind Orchestra meets on Monday evenings during term time at St. Olave's Church Hall, Mark Lane, London EC3R 7NB. The venue is very close to Fenchurch Street Station. Membership is on a subscription basis. There is no formal audition for the orchestra but each new member is given one term to prove themselves worthy of the group and its repertoire. Emphasis will not nessicarily be on technical facility but rather an overall picture of ability including commitment to weekly rehearsals. Go to the contact us page for membership enquiry details. |
